FREE Madeira
FREE Madeira is a pioneering initiative dedicated to positioning Madeira as a global hub for Bitcoin adoption and innovation. Since its founding in 2022, the organization has made significant strides, including helping over 120 businesses accept Bitcoin, hosting free educational workshops, and organizing Bitcoin Atlantis 2024, the largest conference ever held on the island with over 3,000 participants.
Looking ahead, FREE Madeira is expanding its efforts across Energy, Education, and Economic Empowerment, with key projects such as the FREE Madeira Hub in downtown Funchal and a new digital platform launching in 2025. With the support of an esteemed Advisory Board, including experts from various fields, FREE Madeira continues to drive grassroots Bitcoin adoption and establish Madeira as a leader in the decentralized economy.
FOSE
The purpose of the FOSE Foundation is to empower individuals and communities through free and open-source education. We aim to promote money literacy and other first-principles education by integrating game schooling techniques that make learning both engaging and accessible. In one sentence, FOSE transforms proven educational games from the physical to the digital, literally expanding their impact to the whole world.
